    Spring into the Arts @rt-chitecture Walk This kick-off event will showcase visual arts! Valparaiso Community Schools student artwork (K-12) will be on display for a month-long celebration at 5 downtown landmark locations. The @rt-chitecture Walk showcases a range of creativity across all age levels. The @rt-chitecture Walk exhibit will stay on display from April 20th-May 18th. The kick-off event will serve as an exciting introduction to our amazing artists! Those who attend the kick-off will have a chance to win incredible ARTastic prizes by presenting event maps at each location and submitting completed map cards at Urschel Pavilion at 1:15 for a live art-related prize drawing.

    Active Kids Day Valpo Parks is teaming up with local organizations to promote and encourage kids to "get active" and "be healthy!" The 1st Annual Active Kids Day is a free event at Central Park Plaza under the Urschel Pavilion for people to learn about various activities and opportunities for kids in Porter County. Stop by Sunday and enjoy music, vendors, and more! Event is proudly sponsored by Associated Pediatricians.

    Valpo Parks Foundation's Friends & Legends "Celebrating Friends & Legends" reception is held each year to honor those who lend support and volunteer to aid in the mission of the Valpo Parks Foundation. The "Art & Irene Malasto Legends Award" is presented to give recognition and appreciation to a person or buisness that has supported the Valpo Parks in a significant way through volunteer service, leadership, and/or gifts of financial support. The "Community Champion" Award serves to honor someone in the community who demonstrates leadership and stewardship in the community. Please join us as we honor outstanding individuals and continue the Valpo Parks Foundation Legacy.
